Tonje Culbertson

Amend Ambassador

Tonje Culbertson has over 20 years of experience with the Norwegian Correctional Service, where she has held a variety of roles in both maximum- and minimum-security facilities. Since 2017, she has worked full-time on the education and training of correctional officers and has also served as a senior advisor at the University College of the Norwegian Correctional Service. Tonje has a Master’s degree in Organization and Management, with research centered on how individuals learn and develop as managers within a prison setting. She is an Amend Ambassador and has been a trainer for Amend since 2018. Beginning in September 2025, she transitioned to working with Amend full-time.
