Sondre Forbregd

International Program Manager

Sondre Forbregd is a senior officer in the Norwegian Correctional Service. He started at the Correctional Service in 2011 as a shift sergeant, working mostly in segregation units. In 2019, Sondre launched an “Activity Team” (an innovative corrections model focused on high-risk individuals who need extra support to stay out of restrictive housing) at Romerike Prison in Kløfta, Norway. He is an Amend Ambassador, an active Amend trainer for US correctional staff, and currently on temporary assignment for Amend as a Program Manager.
